Mayberry Days is a festival celebrating small town America as depicted on the Andy Griffith Show. It’s an annual celebration held annually the last weekend of September. This year’s festival will be held in Mt. Airy, NC from September 18-24, 2023.
There’s lots to take in for fans of the show, with the activity centering in downtown Mt. Airy. There are multiple concerts throughout the festival. Tours of Mayberry (i.e. Mt. Airy) are available in the Barney-mobile. Snappy Lunch serves up pork chop sandwiches. There’s even a golf tournament.
Places to Stay When Attending Mayberry Days
Consider Pilot’s Perch Cabins in Fancy Gap, VA, both of which provide a great view of Mt. Airy’s city lights.
Both cabins are a thirty minute drive from Mt. Airy.
