Great Calzone and Delivery on the Mountain!
Pit Stop Pasta and Grill is our favorite restaurant in Fancy Gap. They have a menu with a lot of variety, but our favorite dish is the Meat Lover’s Calzone. Order this, and we don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I’m not a calzone expert, but Pit Stop’s is the best I’ve ever had. It’s delicious!
Pit Stop offers food delivery to the Fancy Gap area. This is a great service and rare in a remote place like Fancy Gap. Be sure to leave plenty of time for the delivery, as sometimes they can get pretty busy. Deliveries are limited to a 6 miles radius.
Order in and enjoy great Italian food while enjoying great views at Pilot’s Perch or Pilot’s Perch Too.
Very Unique Restaurant in an Old Gas Station
You’ll find the “Pit Stop Pasta & Grill” in an old gas station between I-77 and SR 52 in Fancy Gap, VA.

It serves breakfast including omelettes, biscuits, waffles and pancakes and offers turkey sausage and turkey bacon as a healthier alternative on this menu. It also features lunch special for $5.95 Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s lunch and supper menu includes appetizers, salads, New York Style Rice Platters, pasta entrees, subs, parmigiana subs and plates, burgers and wings (pizza was recently added to the list) and offers desserts and a kids menu.

Love the decor; recent redecorating fits in with the gas station theme. Perfect if you’re on a motorcycle. Convenient to both the Blue Ridge Parkway and I-77.
The Pit Stop is Open Late
There aren’t a lot of options for late night grub in Fancy Gap. The Pit Stop, however, is open until 9 PM on the weekdays and 10 PM on the weekend.
