The Copper Pot Restaurant in Mt. Airy has good home cooking, including the best salt-n-pepper catfish around.
It’s about 20 minutes from Fancy Gap, so If you’re looking for some southern comfort food in the area, it’s a good option. It’s located on SR 89 just off I-77, convenient to Mt. Airy as well as Fancy Gap. We haven’t eaten there for breakfast, but I hear it’s excellent.
